Marriott Spas Win 2026 World Spa Awards
Marriott International Caribbean & Latin America has won four honours at the 2026 World Spa Awards across regional destinations.

Marriott International Caribbean & Latin America has secured four regional honours at the 2026 World Spa Awards, recognising resort and hotel spas in Grand Cayman, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas and Mexico City. The awards span four destinations, each shaped around its setting and local wellness traditions. Now in its 12th year, the World Spa Awards recognises excellence in spa and wellness tourism worldwide. Marriott’s winning properties range from beachfront retreats to an urban sanctuary above Paseo de la Reforma.
Four Regional Winners
The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Grand Cayman was named Cayman Islands’ Best Resort Spa 2026. Located at the Caribbean’s first and only Forbes Travel Guide Triple Five-Star resort, the Seven Mile Beach spa combines in-house consultations and tailored rituals with 111SKIN and ESPA, alongside vibroacoustic wellness beds.
Spa Botánico at Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve received Puerto Rico’s Best Resort Spa 2026 title. Its five-acre setting includes local Puerto Rican ingredients, traditional “Manos Santas” healers, treehouse massages, garden bathing rituals and outdoor sound healing.
The Ritz-Carlton Spa, St. Thomas was named U.S. Virgin Islands’ Best Resort Spa 2026, with island-inspired treatments using oils scented by the tropics. In Mexico City, The St. Regis Spa at The St. Regis Mexico City won Mexico’s Best Hotel Spa 2026 for an offering rooted in ancestral techniques, local herbs and massage therapies.
Recognition Across The Region
The wider Marriott Caribbean and Latin America portfolio was also represented among the awards’ nominees. The selected properties included The Spa at Salterra, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Turks & Caicos, Nimbu Spa at Nekajui Peninsula Papagayo, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Costa Rica, AWAY Spa at W São Paulo in Brazil and Andes Spirit Spa at Palacio del Inka, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Cusco.
Destination Led Wellness
The 2026 honours highlight Marriott’s destination-led spa portfolio across the Caribbean and Latin America. From Puerto Rican botanical traditions to Mexican wellness practices and Caribbean marine-inspired rituals, the recognised spas place local settings at the centre of their guest experience.
