Tencent Cloud is providing scalable cloud infrastructure and technical expertise to Bookme as the travel and e-ticketing platform expands across the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan and Pakistan. The collaboration supports Bookme’s consumer platforms and embedded booking services, which are delivered across more than 40 platforms in a mini-app format. Bookme has served more than 15 million customers over 13 years and now operates across Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and other international markets. Its travel inventory includes flights from more than 500 airlines, over one million hotels, global events, airport lounges, e-visas, tours and attractions.

Infrastructure For Travel Demand

Bookme is using Tencent Cloud to host and scale its digital workloads as it manages global travel inventory and partner integrations. The infrastructure, monitoring services, security features and technical support are intended to help the platform accommodate demand peaks linked to travel periods, promotional campaigns and major events.

Rachel Xie, General Manager of Tencent Cloud MENA & General Manager of Operations, Channel Development and Marketing, Tencent Cloud International, said:

“As digital platforms continue to expand across markets, having cloud infrastructure that can scale alongside business growth is increasingly important. Tencent Cloud is pleased to support Bookme with scalable infrastructure and technical expertise that help power its customer-facing platforms and partner ecosystem. We look forward to supporting Bookme's continued growth as it enhances its services and reaches more customers across international markets.”

Platform Expands Across Markets

Founded in Pakistan, Bookme began by helping digitise the country’s ticketing industry and has developed into a travel and experiences platform. The company has established a presence in five additional regions, including the Middle East and North Africa, while its partner network includes fintech, banking and super-app businesses.

The platform offers bookings for buses, flights, hotels, events, movies, Hajj and Umrah. Its embedded services also extend its booking capability beyond Bookme’s own consumer-facing platforms.

Faizan Aslam, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bookme, said:

“Bookme has evolved from helping digitize Pakistan's ticketing industry into a travel and experiences platform serving millions of customers across multiple markets. As we continue to expand our global footprint, having scalable technology infrastructure is critical. Tencent Cloud provides the flexibility and capacity we need to support evolving customer needs and deliver seamless experiences across our platforms.”

Foundation For Further Services

The collaboration is positioned to support Bookme’s continued ecosystem development, service enhancements and expansion across multiple markets. With customer demand, inventory and partner integrations increasing, the companies are focused on maintaining the operational capacity behind search and booking journeys.
